2. Chemical elimination method
The chemical electrostatic elimination method, that is, the antistatic agent treatment technology, is mainly a method to modify the electrical properties of resin or substrate by adding antistatic agents or coating technology. It is a relatively thorough and perfect antistatic technology. However, the addition or coating of antistatic agent changes the chemical composition of the material, so this technology is only suitable for the modification of plastic resin.
Especially in packaging food, medicine, cosmetics and chemical products, attention should be paid to safety, hygiene and compatibility with the matrix resin, so the technology content is high. The packaging materials with anti-static properties not only eliminate various quality accidents caused by static electricity, but also improve the packaging efficiency for customers and ensure the sealing strength, so they are recognized by customers.
3. Additive processing technology
The technology is to mix the additive antistatic agent with thermoplastic resin according to a certain concentration, add a variety of additives, and make antistatic master batch through melting, mixing and granulation.
The selection of antistatic agent should pay attention to the compatibility with the matrix resin. If the compatibility is too poor, the antistatic particles produced have poor performance; However, if the compatibility is too good, the migration speed of the antistatic agent to the surface is too slow to form an antistatic water film. Select the same resin as the product resin as the matrix resin. During the process of melting, mixing and granulation, keep the processing temperature as low as possible to prevent the antistatic agent from decomposition or even deterioration due to poor thermal stability.
The three-layer co extrusion blow molding process is often used to prepare antistatic plastic film with antistatic particles. Note that the proportion of antistatic masterbatch to be added shall be determined according to the concentration of its effective substance, and properly adjusted according to the test results, so that its surface resistivity ps is about 1011 Ω; The increase of the addition amount will not only increase the cost of the product, but also adversely affect the later processing procedures.
4. Coating type treatment technology
The treatment technology of coating type antistatic agent is to make an antistatic coating from ionic surfactant and apply it on the surface of plastic film to prevent charge accumulation.
The selection of coating type antistatic agent shall be determined according to the work function of the coated substrate. When the work function of plastic material is large, it is easy to be negatively charged; If the work function is small, it is positive. Among them, PP and PE are easy to be negatively charged and should be coated with cationic surfactant; PET and PA are easy to be positively charged and should be coated with anionic surfactant.
