The excellent performance of metal packaging materials includes: high
barrier, excellent mechanical properties, good container forming and processing
technology, good high and low temperature resistance, thermal conductivity and
thermal shock resistance, good surface decoration, and easy recycling of
packaging waste. Canned food and some liquid, paste, powder or high-grade food
are often packed with such materials. The commonly used metal packaging
materials include tinplate and aluminum, which are widely used in the
