The normal content of carbon dioxide in the air is 0 0.3%, trace carbon dioxide can stimulate the growth of microorganisms; When the spatial concentration reaches 10% - 14%, it can inhibit microorganisms; If the space concentration exceeds 40%, it will have obvious inhibition and killing effect on microorganisms. The packaging materials used must be air tight materials with certain insulation performance to gas or water vapor to maintain the gas concentration in the package.
